Farewell North is a sweet-natured look at companionship and loss through the eyes of a very good boy.
Read full review ↗Farewell North turns out to be a great experience, touching and unique, capable of interweaving an emotional narrative with gameplay that, despite its simplicity, manages to involve and convey deep thoughts. Despite some minor technical limitations and a pace that may not suit everyone, the title stands out thanks to its artistic compartment. It is a game that invites the player to reflect, to immerse himself in a symbolic world and to be touched by emotions.
Read full review ↗Everyone experiences grief at some point, but I did not think a game would help me come to terms with it and the emotions it causes.
Read full review ↗Farewell North is one of the more impactful and emotional gaming experiences I’ve had in recent years. The journey of the border collie, the bond with its human, and the struggle to find its way home all create a deeply emotional narrative that stays with you for a while and will probably bring a tear or two to your eyes. If you like story-driven adventures that tug at your heartstrings, you should definitely consider playing this game.

Read full review ↗Farewell North is an emotional game about the difficult goodbye to something that's been with you for your entire life and how you keep it with you even after it's gone. If you have lost a family member, pet, or are homesick, Farewell North is sure to resonate with you.
Read full review ↗Farewell North is a cathartic experience—a reminder that grief, while overwhelming, can be transformed into something beautiful. The game doesn’t shy away from the pain of loss, but it also shows that healing, though slow and difficult, is possible when surrounded by love, memories, and the unbreakable bond between a dog and their human.
Read full review ↗A great concept and experience with a cool overall aesthetic, but the execution overall isn’t always so hot
Read full review ↗Farewell North is a heartwarming game that shows, in a literal sense, how a beloved pet can bring the light back in our darkest moments.
Read full review ↗Farewell North is a stunning video game that you should play. While I was writing this review, fixes were still going out, so I hope your experience is less rocky than mine, should you choose to play. As someone who mourns the loss of her dog, I could relate to the heart-breaking tale. Farewell North is not the game for you if you are looking for a puzzle adventure game that puts more emphasis on gameplay than it does on the narrative.
