Voez is a diamond in the rough, at least as far as the Nintendo Switch eShop is concerned. The system's launch went from zero (or just Zelda) to hero in seconds flat, and as long as you're okay with a lack of a TV mode, Voez is a worthy pickup.

VOEZ is a beautiful rhythm game with a generous supply of songs and gorgeous artwork that makes you want to keep going back for more. The rhythm gameplay feels accurate and fits the songs nicely for the most part, particularly in harder difficulties, with a nicely designed learning curve to allow players to get into the swing of things.The soundtrack can start to feel quite repetitive at times, with a number of songs blending together to create what feels like filler content, and the quality of sound could be a little better with some songs sounding quite compressed, but overall this doesn't dampen the enjoyment of the game too heavily. Overall, VOEZ is a very good entry to the rhythm genre and one to consider for portable, tap-along loveliness.

VOEZ on the Nintendo Switch offers up classic rhythm gameplay with a dynamic playfield that livens up the gameplay. The title's mobile origins and the tablet-only restriction on the Switch leads to a few minor setbacks, and the player's mileage will vary on the content outside of the main gameplay. Still, a generous amount of songs is included with multiple difficulties, so there is a lot to come back to in the meat of the game.

With plentiful content in a range of energetic music styles, VOEZ astounds and enchants in equal measure to deliver a rhythm game that deserves your attention.

VOEZ is a pleasant and unexpected musical game that will help you to diversify leisure on the Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Zelda, despite its huge length, is still not infinite. And when the question about buying new projects arises, VOEZ may be the right decision.

VOEZ on the Nintendo Switch is a very fun, hectic and fast-paced rhythm game. I loved the song selection but, as expected, your mileage may vary. The game is certainly easy to play but hard to master, especially if you want to unlock every Diary entry. Unlike its mobile counterpart on iOS and Android, which is an F2P release with microtransactions to permanently unlock songs, the Switch version features a single $24.99 price for the game and all songs, in the end making it a better value. With 100+ songs, you’ll spend hours playing before you’ve enjoyed all of them at least once!

A surprisingly strong contender in the Nintendo Switch launch library, VOEZ is well worth its modest asking price for rhythm fans who need to scratch that IIDX itch.

One of those unexpected surprises on the few first Nintendo Switch games. It may not be for everyone, but if you enjoy rthytm games, you'll enjoy this one.

Between bouts of Zelda, Voez has become a welcome musical break from Hyrule. The music charts in the game are very well designed leading to frantic, musical fun. Voez is a wonderful option for those desiring some rhythm action on the Switch.

It’s gone under the radar a bit, but VOEZ’s place on the Switch launch line-up is highly deserved and you should give it your attention.
