The House of Da Vinci VR marks Blue Brain Games' debut in the virtual world, offering a decent puzzle-filled adventure. However, it remains too anchored in a smartphone-like logic to truly hit the mark. The quality of the puzzles encountered varies in difficulty and lacks originality, featuring a control method that is still immature and uncertain. Nevertheless, it manages to entertain the player throughout the duration of the game.

House of Da Vinci VR is a good entry into the series, and VR games in general. While it does have some issues with controls and a weird difficulty curve, it is a good time.

The team at Blue Brain Games has created perfect renditions of the challenging puzzles of the flat-screen version, sometimes difficult but fun to solve. It has some technical limitations, perhaps due to the transition from traditional to VR use, but the developers have nonetheless managed to convince us: The House of Da Vinci is a fine test for virtual reality.

Overall, The House of Da Vinci is an impressive game. If you’re into escape rooms, puzzles, or beautifully designed worlds, this one is absolutely worth your time. Sure, it’s not a free-roaming adventure, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s an intricate, rewarding experience that pulls you into its world and keeps you engaged until the very end.

The House of Da Vinci VR captures the magic of the original while offering a uniquely immersive experience for Meta Quest 3 players. Its engaging puzzles, stunning visuals, and atmospheric audio make it a must-play for fans of historical mysteries and escape room games. While the limited movement options are a drawback, they don’t overshadow the brilliance of the game’s core design. If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into the workshop of a genius and unraveling the secrets of the Renaissance, this is your chance.

The House of Da Vinci VR is a very good puzzle game and you will have fun solving Leonardo's riddles. Graphically it's great and it's a very interactive title, although the VR mechanics can be improved. Still, it is very enjoyable.

The House of Da Vinci VR is a triumph of puzzle design in virtual reality, with its stunning visuals, clever enigmas, and immersive mechanics making it a standout title in the genre. Whilst the limited movement system is a little disappointing, it in no way overshadows the sheer ingenuity and creativity of the wonderful puzzle-solving and exquisite world design of the adventure. The House of Da Vinci VR is simply a love letter to both Leonardo da Vinci’s genius and the capabilities of virtual reality, offering a journey that is rewarding, beautiful, and simply one of the best puzzle titles that I’ve played on the Meta Quest 3.

The House of Da Vinci VR represents a masterful translation of the original game into virtual reality. Rather than simply adapting the existing puzzles, Blue Brain Games has reimagined the experience from the ground up to create something that feels native to VR.
