A solid experience for those truly interested in an action-adventure rhythm game. Best played in a group or cooperatively, but solo is totally fine just a little more difficult. Fun, charming and at times chaotic, totally recommend this for a night of fun.
Read full review ↗Super Crazy Rhythm Castle has its fair share of issues, namely on how its strongest selling point, having to deal with a tyrant with a childish tantrum, can also be one of its most frustrating aspects. It’s a fun rhythm game if you’re in the same mental vibes as itself. If so, you’ll be able to enjoy a very unique mixture between Guitar Hero and Overcooked, covered in some cute visuals and random sense of humor. It might not be the best party game out there, but it certainly is one of the more unique titles to be released in recent times.
Read full review ↗Overall, I quite enjoyed the challenge of playing it alone but I do honestly believe that Super Crazy Rhythm Castle would be best played with friends or family as a party game. The Overcooked-esque stressful juggling act is sometimes simply too much for one person to bear. Having other people to share the load would alleviate the stress and make it a much more fun experience. Not to mention, there is a VS area for multiplayer that is available when you need a much needed break from the main game. Regardless of its shortcomings, Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a wonderfully innovative game in the rhythm game genre and I will be keeping the developers Second Impact Games on my radar for their upcoming projects.
Read full review ↗The idea of combining puzzles with rhythm is really good and is excellently executed because it invites those who are not very fond of rhythm games, as is my case, without disenchanting those who are. The story is entertaining although it takes a complete background given the characteristics of the title, although it makes sense that it is present to give it a framework.
Read full review ↗By combining the rhythm and puzzle genres, Super Crazy Rhythm Castle created a unique and extremely fun adventure to experience with friends. Though it works fine in single player, the big highlight is the mode where we interact with our friends to surpass its diverse challenges. Alone or with friends, this is a great game to pass time, laugh and enjoy the music.
Read full review ↗Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a chaotic mix of gaming tasks and music styles that will continue to surprise and delight players throughout…provided the required rhythm precision doesn't turn them away first. Definitely don't try it alone, and make sure your co-op partners-either locally or online-are fully up to speed as you progress.
Read full review ↗Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a hilarious music adventure best enjoyed with friends. Bursting with eccentricity, the game's comedic narrative unfolds as you conquer the zany Rhythm Castle, grooving to a beat or herding magical rats. The game's unpredictability keeps the fun alive. It's certainly not for solo play and proves to be tricky to learn, but this game shows Konami can still deliver unique and memorable gaming experiences.
Read full review ↗Ultimately Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a flawed but interesting game that is wildly creative yet doesn't always live up to its ambitions or other Konami rhythm games. Still, this was a fun experience that I'm glad I was able to try. I'm hoping this game is only the first of more rhythm game experiments by Konami (or other developers!) because I'd love to see this Castle more polished or with a better tracklist.
Read full review ↗Super Crazy Rhythm Castle it's a real surprise. It's a rhythm game that cleverly plays with the genre's rules, crafting a bizarre yet irresistible experience, especially enjoyable when shared with others. Of course, it still remains a rhythm game, and its quirks will likely make it appealing to a niche audience; however, once you overcome this initial hurdle, it's probably one of the best co-op experiences of the year.
