In modern society, the protagonist has just become a novice Zashiki-warashi (a traditional Japanese house spirit). With no home of her own to haunt, she visits Warashi Realty in search of a place to settle. However, she soon learns that in order to be entrusted with introducing houses, she must first prove her abilities as a spirit through training under the company’s owner—a veteran elder Zashiki-warashi with centuries of experience.
