I have a handful of gripes about PowerWash Simulator 2, but they hardly bring down the experience. It feels like a love letter to all of the fans and the things they’ve asked for over the years, and we end up getting a really neat collection of structures to clean up beside it. If the first PowerWash Simulator was any indicator, we can likely look forward to loads of post-launch content as well.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a sequel that's very aware of what it is and what its audience expects, and it more than delivers in that regard. Despite being a continuation of the first game, it refines and expands upon its formula with discernment, offering a more varied, comfortable, and complete experience. It's a game that continues to shine in its defining characteristic: transforming something as simple as cleaning into something surprisingly satisfying. For us, it's a very solid evolution that maintains the charm of the original.

PowerWash Simulator 2 could be described as "just a standard sequel", as it takes the first game as a basis and refines some of its aspects while adding a handful of new features. The target audience might be restricted, but the "ding" which confirms each objective has been fully cleaned is still as addictive and will sate your OCD.

Power Wash Simulator 2 isn't a completely new thing in comparison to its predecessor and I'm pretty sure all fans of the first game, including myself, would have been disappointed if it would've been. The new tools and adjustments definitely make the gameplay much smoother, the split-screen co-op is the best new feature for me personally and the feeling of zen I get while cleaning is something I haven't found in any other game to this day.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a confident, thoughtful sequel that deepens its foundation through refinement rather than reinvention. It knows exactly what it wants to be, and it succeeds by committing fully to that vision.
