With exceptional writing, beautiful art, a compelling environment, and a captivating central gameplay mechanic, Expelled! is a video game work of art. If you have any interest in visual novels, adventure games, whodunits, or time loops, I can’t recommend it enough. Believe me, you will want to play this one again and again!

Expelled! is a fun murder mystery that sometimes frustrates you but brings you back from the brink of quitting the game in its entirety once you get the hang of it.

Expelled may not be as original as its predecessor, and the cast of characters isn’t quite as colorful for my money, but this is an extremely worthy follow-up with an excellent setting and a more fulfilling mystery. This is a school that’s full of secrets, and dedicated players will find numerous jaw-dropping moments hidden in its darkest corners.

Inkle studio should be praised for the whole concept. The characters are written really well, and each acquaintance has their own personality and way of speaking. That said, Expelled! is a neat experience, but something about the plot still didn't work for me even though I loved their Overboard! murder mystery.

Expelled! is a brilliantly crafted mystery with a clever time-loop mechanic and razor-sharp writing. While its replay-driven structure may test some players' patience, the game rewards persistence with surprising depth and multiple compelling endings. A standout narrative experience that turns schoolyard drama into an unforgettable whodunit.
