Unfortunately, Evil Nun: The Broken Mask offers a terrifying experience due to its poor content, endless repetition, and pointless (and probably intentional) difficulty
Read full review ↗Evil Nun: The Broken Mask doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, and didn't have to. By not taking itself so seriously, the game manages to incorporate a humorous touch, combining tension moments caused by the relentless pursuit with laughable situations thanks to the nun's cartoonesque aspect and behavior. Among recent Feardemic horror releases that I had the chance to play, this is definitely the most consistent.
Read full review ↗I hate being negative about a game but I found Evil Nun a soulless and unenjoyable experience. Even without the bugs and glitches the whole repeating loop is dull and derivative rather than immersive. If this is your kind of horror game then there may be something for you to enjoy but you should be playing Amnesia or Alien: Isolation instead.
Read full review ↗While I appreciate the idea of The Broken Mask, the flaws in the game unfortunately overpower the enjoyability.
