Electrician Simulator

Electrician Simulator is, in essence, just a simple point-and-click game without a hint of any complexity, in which you click on everything the game itself asks you to. Although installing electrical wiring or repairing outlets at a customer’s home is fun, the whole experience is ruined primarily by the second part—servicing electrical appliances—which takes up far more time than typical electrician work. No matter how hard I try, I feel like something is missing that would liven up the overall gameplay a bit, and that’s why, on behalf of us at Gaming Professors, I have to give Electrician Simulator only five out of ten points.

Electrician Simulator is a good entry in the ever-expanding genre. It is an intriguing look into a career that educates as well as entertains at the same time. The game is absolutely suited to all audiences, possibly the younglings (or oldlings) who are curious about the career or folk who love their simulator games. I found I enjoyed it best in small doses, taking on a few missions at a time. Like all simulator games, I did hit a point where I found rewiring just got a bit boring, which was more notable in the larger missions. But that is often what is the draw for many players. Electrician Simulator also plays it very safe in terms of its design. Many simulator games follow the same template of taking on missions and earning money and not much else. Electrician Simulator does what it does well but also doesn’t take any risks or add much new to the simulator genre. If you’re looking for something relaxing to start the year off or fancy a new virtual career change, I still recommend Electrician Simulator.

As the title suggests, you’ll be able to work in the “exciting” world of rewiring and fixing things, with little direction

Electrician Simulator is a rewarding and realistic title, but it uses too many tricks to make itself playable, too short for the genre, and with problems that make it frustrating.

Electrician Simulator offers a rather interesting concept for learning the real techniques used by electricians. The object repair missions are also a good way of learning more about the workings of our surroundings. Unfortunately, the gameplay loop is very repetitive and the variation in missions is rather weak. After just a few hours of play, I quickly got the impression that I'd come full circle, and that I'd be revisiting the same objectives over and over again, with a few variations. The basis of the title is there, but in my opinion, more content needs to be added to keep the player going. For the time being, I'd recommend this experience above all to fans of the genre.

Electrician Simulator does what it does well enough, but it has little to no reason to go back to it after one play session.

Overall, Electrician Simulator is another fun simulator game. Its central gameplay loop is an enjoyable one, and there's always something pleasing about working through a job to completion. Electrician Simulator may not be the most bombastic of titles, but what it does, it does well.
