Docked is a focused and fairly accessible sim. It doesn’t reinvent the genre, but it delivers a steady, engaging experience.
Read full review ↗Docked is a fairly decent simulator, but it ultimately lacks anything to make it interesting for those outside its niche.
Read full review ↗Docked is exactly what you’d expect from a port operations simulator—or at least the most exciting version of one.
Read full review ↗With Docked, the developers have created a surprisingly well-crafted port simulation. The game impresses with its meticulously designed industrial environments, realistic vehicles, and effective blend of driving and resource management. Even though some missions can feel repetitive and the game’s lifespan is a bit short, the experience remains enjoyable from start to finish. I would have liked, however, to be able to continue operating the port once the campaign was over. A sandbox mode would also have turned the experience into a true playground for simulation enthusiasts. The foundation is solid; now it’s just a matter of polishing the title with updates or additional content to prove that even the most technical industrial activities can become surprisingly captivating.
Read full review ↗A kind of an odd release which is nowhere near as large-scale as RoadCraft and its predecessors, and for that reason it may make weary faster than those games did. However, it does feature several interesting innovations that would be great to see in Saber's next
Read full review ↗While I do still miss the more “sandbox” style of Saber Interactive Titles, “Docked” is at the very least a great step in the right direction with its more engrossing narrative and good simulation of cables and weight. I just wish the team went a bit beyond and added more variety of jobs and didn’t rely as much on menus.
Read full review ↗If you are looking for a decent, new simulator, then Docked is an option on the table. However, the performance issues paired with odd mechanic choices and no sandbox/post-game do limit the experience for players.
Read full review ↗While Docked is a great single-player game, the lack of a sandbox mode or online gameplay makes it lose an important aspect of any simulator game in today’s age. It will keep you entertained for your current playthrough, but the game lacks in replayability, especially when you get tired of playing the same jobs again and again. I really wanted to give Docked a higher score, but it loses points based on the fact that all of your invested hours are just locked out at the end. If you love playing simulators, Docked is one of the most unique ones, with a brilliant campaign and amazing, huge machines to control. Just don’t expect much of an endgame once you finish the campaign.
Read full review ↗Docked is a well-constructed and pleasant linear management game, which however would have benefited enormously from the presence of a sandbox mode capable of expanding the player's freedom and longevity.
Read full review ↗Docked is enjoyable enough for a few laid-back hours, especially if the idea of operating cranes appeals to you. However, its tight focus on a single core gameplay mechanic leads to a noticeable lack of variety, while the management elements, though enjoyable, end up feeling largely inconsequential outside of Hard mode.
