Whateverland is a charming point-and-click adventure game that strives for originality wherever possible. It succeeds in this, particularly in terms of building an unconventional world, its rules, characters, and logic puzzles, which do a great job of livening up what would otherwise be monotonous gameplay. Lighthearted humor, combined with a well-chosen soundtrack, enhances the dark atmosphere reminiscent of Tim Burton, but everything might feel a bit rushed. The game still requires a fair amount of work and fixes to offer players an uninterrupted experience.

A decent graphic adventure in which some good intuitions, excellent replayability and some problems of various kinds such as frustrating controls coexist.

You likely won’t want to replay it to see the multiple endings, but for a single play through, Whateverland is a charming, charismatic if rough around the edges point and click adventure. It stumbles a number of times before the credits roll but with multiple solutions to puzzles and quirky characters to get to know, this game is a perfectly fine way to spend a few evenings.

Whateverland is a wonderful and quirky adventure game that is full of some amazing voice acting, music, and animation. There are tons of funny and enjoyable lines throughout. There are a few spelling mistakes and the game could use a few more save slots, but these are really minor. It really brings you back to old-school adventure games that made this genre so great.
