Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition is pure, violent fun that focuses on gameplay and graphics. The revamp maintains what made the original fantastic, without sacrificing its identity and love for the Warhammer 40K franchise. There’s enough to keep longtime fans and new fans satisfied with the overall game, so if players are willing to overlook the minuscule issues and the unfortunately short campaign, they’re in for a blast. Now, grab a weapon and get out there, Space Marines. For the Emperor.

Anyway, I just expected a bit more for the same price as a 2011 release. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition needed more justification for its release. I will certainly explore more of this series because of this release, but my expectations for the next game remastered from this series have now been set.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition successfully revives a game that, despite the passage of time, remains as brutal as it is fun. It's not a revolution, but it is a more than decent update that allows you to rediscover an intense campaign and decent multiplayer, now with visual improvements and a few rough edges—which we hope the guys at SneakyBox will iron out. Ideal for fans of the Warhammer universe or for those who missed out on the game back in the day.

Space Marine remains a must-play for WH40K fans, but the Master Crafted Edition would've been better as an upgrade to the existing edition.

None of its additions address the original's fundamental issues, preferring to leave it largely as it was.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition is more than likely one of the best-remastered games to be released recently. Between the improved UI and visuals, there’s a whole new world to explore and see much more clearly while reliving the old days. Unfortunately, while the weapons radial can be forgiven, the issue with saving might end up being a nail in the coffin for this absolute gem.

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Master Crafted looks very good with its 4k resolution, improved textures, and upgraded character models. It gives people the opportunity to play through the original story of Captain Titus, maintaining the feel of the original release. There were issues with the Master Crafted edition I do not remember experiencing when playing the Anniversary Edition including enemies getting stuck and control issues, though these will hopefully be patched out soon.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition isn't a massive visual overhaul, with minor but notable differences. Yet the entire package still stands as an enjoyable 40K experience, imperfections and all.
