A humorous adventure that really gets under your skin. It’s sure to delight fans of adventure games and wacky dialogue-driven comedies. A game that highlights the contrast between the real world and a Viking-Biblical fantasy afterlife. Do you like 2D cartoon-style platformer graphics and have a good command of English? Go for it. The Holy Gosh Darn features excellent voice acting, the humor pulls no punches, and you can always rewind time without any stress. If you don’t speak any of the following languages—Chinese, English, French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, or Turkish—move on to something else. Or wait for a possible fan translation of the PC version.

The puzzles were mostly straight-forward, with a few that did have me scratching my head for a moment, but never outlandish or obtuse in their solutions. The characters are also wonderfully varied, and I found myself enjoying their drama and flaws about as much as I did the main questline.

Fancy something fun, funny, creative, sarcastic and intelligent all at the same time? In The Holy Gosh Darn you'll get it all, in the form of one of the best adventure games of the year, with a brilliantly written script that's very hard to get away from.

The Holy Gosh Darn is a must-play, and wow, I’m happy I had the privilege to play it. It's more of an experience than just a game, making you think while also craving the next part of the story.

The Holy Gosh Darn is a brilliant time loop comedy that is as mechanically engaging as it is hysterical.

The Holy Gosh Darn may not reinvent the wheel, but it proves that all dogs go to heaven, and it does what it sets out to do very well. It stole my heart not only for its clever puzzles, but also for being the wittiest game I've played in a while.

The Holy Gosh Darn uses its time-traveling gimmick to full-effect, crafting a multitude of fun puzzles within a world packed full of wacky characters, witty jokes and crude gags. But perhaps the best thing about the game is how it expands on the universe that Perfectly Paranormal is building. It’s said that God created man in his image, and once you’ve spent a while in Heaven and Hell it makes a lot of sense – the denizens of the Afterlife are a flawed bunch, and thus so are the humans.

A more foul-mouthed and oddball take on gameplay similar to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

The Holy Gosh Darn may well be Perfectly Paranormal's best game yet, and it's clear the team has learned a lot from developing Manual Samuel and Helheim Hassle. This is a seriously slick adventure: it looks fantastic, its puzzles are fun to solve and it will have you laughing out loud every step of the way.
