Thank You For Your Application is a gritty, dystopian sim that turns job hunting into a soul-crushing roguelike. You play as a cold-hearted interviewer whose own humanity fades as you reject desperate candidates to survive. It is a brilliant, bitter critique of capitalism, though the mid-game pace feels like a chore.
Read full review ↗Thank You For Your Application constructs the dystopia of Aeropolis City through highly entertaining satire. However, the tone is at times too light-hearted, which detracts from the immersive experience. The gameplay is very strong in the first part of the game, but becomes rather sluggish towards the end, where there is very little in the way of new content. Furthermore, the job interviews feel more like the border checks in Papers, Please than genuine candidate assessments, and we would have appreciated a deeper exploration of the selection mechanics that are already present but limited to brief special sections.

Set in a dystopian city built on inequality and social hierarchy, the game challenges players with difficult choices between ambition and conscience. Though relatively short, its sharp social commentary and emotional impact leave a lasting impression.
