The concept is great, no doubt about it, and so is the atmosphere, but the rest falls short. For the developers to improve the game and make it playable for me, they’d have to completely overhaul it. They should have a maximum of two or three stories per level, and ideally remove the characters from the previous level once it’s completed. They should also sharpen the graphics and remove a lot of the details that just confuse you when solving puzzles, and then LOVE – A Puzzle Box Filled with Stories could be a great, melancholic indie game.
Read full review ↗LOVE tells beautiful stories full of love framed by a great soundtrack. You should wait for a discounted price however as the usual price seems to be a bit much for this box that only lasts for one hour.
Read full review ↗LOVE is a simple but fun game, with simple but relatively nice, ultra-retro visuals, a neat, yet simple respawn mechanic, and a decent replay value due to its simple score-chasing mindset, and its equally simple level editor. Simply put: it's ok… and that's all there is to say about it.
Read full review ↗It may be a simple game but working through Love's tricky stages is pretty fun. I just wish there were more of them to master.
