Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated is not a good game. It is not a bad game. It is a game. A harmless time-waster that will neither bring a revolution nor it will end the world by its quiet presence on the Switch eShop.

Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated is little more than a title you’d buy on sale for a couple of pounds, play for five minutes and forget it exists.

Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated intends to be an evolution of the original game but the overall result falls short of that objective. While its gameplay is competent and the art style is rather original, the game quickly becomes too repetitive with its recycled content, its soundtrack quickly becomes something to ignore and its sale price makes it difficult to recommend.

Cute Paper Wars in remastered and enhanced edition is not enough for most players and it is not very impressive.

Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder is a strangely addictive experience. It's a simple game with a few minor issues, but is also a guilty pleasure that's fun to play.

It's a cheap, cute, tower defense game, in a fairly crowded genre. It has decent visuals that are appreciated, but outside of that, I say, throw it back in the recycling bin.

Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated is not worth the money it costs, and even after a big discount you will enjoy this mediocre title for a couple of hours at most.
