Even though I don't see myself replaying Nova-111 for full completion any time soon, I liked what was here. It has a sharp look, some chuckle-silently-in-my-head comedy, and gameplay unlike anything else I have experienced. It forced me to think in a totally new way, which is increasingly uncommon with most established genres.
Read full review ↗Nova-111 is an enjoyable turn-based adventure game that manages to impress with its refreshing controls and charming art style. Though it does have some flaws, such as a lacklustre auto-save feature and a cumbersome amount of abilities, you'll be hard pressed to find a weirder and more brilliant tribute to the men and women who changed the world through science.
Read full review ↗Overall, Nova-111 is a lot of fun for its smart mix of familiar gameplay elements. Discovering the weirdness of space has never been cooler.
Read full review ↗Nova-111 is a fun turn-based puzzle game that looks super cute and works your brain but can feel slow and repetitive after a while.
Read full review ↗Melding real-time and turn-based mechanics cannot be easy, but Nova-111 does it deftly, with its gameplay being the top priority. Unfortunately, this interactive puzzle game has no story or substance to make it feel like more than a collection of mini-games.
Read full review ↗At its core, Nova-111 is a strategy adventure game about a small ship, its amusing guide, and the pair's mission to fix space-time. Players can find secrets hidden behind suspicious rocks to get upgrades and rescue their fellow scientists in each area. There are a few minor issues that players may face when trying to move quickly in certain levels, but there aren't any major problems with gameplay. Nova-111 is short but fun to play, and it offers some difficult puzzles for players to solve.
Read full review ↗While it gets off to a bit of a light start, Nova-111 is the sort of game that'll sneak up on you with its challenge as it continues to add more complicated enemies, environmental threats, and varied tools to help you survive the further you go...
Read full review ↗Nova-111 is quite a treat of an indie and I'm happy that it's finally available for Switch. Exploring its alien worlds as you outsmart all sorts of tricky foes and progress past seemingly impossible situations makes for some rewarding Mystery Dungeon-like gameplay.
Read full review ↗Nova-111 is a humorous and quirky quest that rivals the sheer charm presented in the PixelJunk games. It's not the most varied adventure, but it's fun nonetheless, and it makes a great portable companion if you go with the Vita version.
Read full review ↗Nova 111 is an interesting and original strategy game that makes use of stunning visuals and a very precise gameplay mechanics. It could only gain from a more practical save feature that would reduce the amount of times players will be forced to repeat the same levels over and over.
