No Players Online is a game I’d like to recommend. Technically speaking, in terms of its mechanics and overall concept, it’s top-notch. However, I can’t ignore the chaotic and plot-hole-ridden storyline. That said, I can’t claim I didn’t have a good time during the three hours it took me to finish the game. That time flew by; the gameplay itself was a lot of fun, and the constant interplay of anxiety and nostalgia drew me in and allowed me to lose myself in the created world.

Although the decision to alternate between 3D exploration phases and long investigation sessions may be an obstacle for those who prefer a more immediate pace, the production succeeds in allowing the user to experience the excitement of an ARG.
