MotionRec offers a clever challenge that relies primarily on the player's creativity through simple mechanics. It's the ideal game for those who enjoy puzzles and platformers with a touch of retro charm.

MotionRec is very straightforward, which, for me, is a good thing within the premise of being a puzzle game, but at the same time, from a video game perspective, I felt it lacked a bit more context, but nothing too detrimental.

MotionRec makes excellent use of platforming and action elements in its puzzles, which have a learning curve that is, for the most part, well-designed and enriching for the player's experience with each discovery. The game is relatively short, but in this case, that seems ideal, as it manages to provide that brain stimulation with each solution without overdoing the quantity in order to maintain quality.

MotionRec is a game that lives and dies on its gameplay mechanics. The concept of being able to record and replay your movements never gets old, partly thanks to the introduction of new gimmicks you encounter throughout your journey. While the game lacks a recognizable soundtrack, memorable levels, and an intriguing narrative, the charming visual style and exciting gameplay more than make up for it. If you're looking for a charming and short puzzle platformer, then MotionRec is definitely worth your time.

MotionRec is an absolute delight that both crafts an incredible experience while keeping players happy with actual gameplay. It kept me coming back again and again, and, in spite of some very difficult Notes to find, I was enthralled from start to finish.
