Misc. A Tiny Tale is a charming and delightful first effort from Tinyware – albeit with some wobbles in execution. It sticks very close to classic ideas and struggles with graphical fidelity on Switch, but none of that can undo the charm of the characters and the retro vibe straight from the GameCube era. Until Chibi-Robo hits Nintendo Classics, this will serve all your miniature robot helper needs.

Misc: A Tiny Tale is a very cute game with a surprisingly profound and impactful story that transforms cleaning up the world around you into an adventure.

Misc. A Tiny Tale is a real hidden gem. The quality of the level design, the amount of emotional heft in the narrative, and the sheer joy of exploration in the game make it feel like a true successor to Chibi-Robo. Even if it doesn't quite have the scope of Nintendo's title, it's a pleasure from beginning to end.

A whimsical adventure that's more than the sum of its parts.

While generally a very cute and approachable 3D platformer, when pushed to perform its floaty controls can be a challenge

Misc. A Tiny Tale is not a game I enjoyed. The narrative tone is awkwardly patronising to play through as an adult, and while the level design has its occasional moments, the relatively bland gameplay does not make up for this. While the game mostly handles sensitive topics around mental health in a way that is appropriate for young children, some of the supplementary material is at odds with this otherwise child-friendly tone, and it's hard to recommend to any age group.

Misc. A Tiny Tale is a beautiful game with a charming cast of characters and lovingly crafted story. While it’s not as long or as in-depth gameplay-wise as some of its current contemporaries in the 3D platforming genre, it does not need to be. It just needs to be enjoyable and full of life, keeping players engaged through its many levels and objectives, and Misc. A Tiny Tale achieves this with flying colours. A must-play for platforming fans and those who enjoy emotional narratives.

Misc. A Tiny Tale is a charming, short 3D platformer clearly inspired by Chibi-Robo'to the point where it often feels like a fan-made tribute or low-budget clone. That said, it's a wholesome experience with a good heart, cheerful atmosphere, and likable robotic characters. Unfortunately, the game never truly excels'its platforming feels imprecise, combat is dull, and the visuals reflect its limited budget. It's cute, but hard to shake the feeling you're playing a "Chibi-Robo from Wish."

A fun, low-stakes 3D platformer with tiny robots in worlds no bigger than a garden.

The constantly changing level variety and natural drive to 100% each area had me absolutely hooked. Now and then the platforming or level design would slow things down, but never enough to prevent me from pushing through to see what was next. Misc. A Tiny Tale is an easy early pick for my personal indie of the year lineup.
