The atmospheric presentation is great and the dark, unsettling story provides a compelling reason to check out Loretta even with all the other issues. However, some technical issues, underwhelming gameplay mechanics, and a slightly uneven story prevent this from fully realising its potential. Fans of psychological thrillers and narrative-driven adventures should probably give it a chance. It offers a glimpse into a haunting world worth exploring as long expectations are tampered a bit at the door.

Overall, I found that Loretta is a captivating and thought-provoking experience that explores the darker aspects of human nature. Whether you’re a fan of narrative-driven games or simply enjoy a good mystery, it’s sure to leave a lasting impression and have you constantly thinking about it. I’m not always a fan of dark and depressing media. The world is hard enough without relaxing to more of the same. Yet, Loretta tells an interesting and captivating story. Furthermore, I loved the sinister choices and the excellent story. Alongside this, it has a cruel and grim aesthetic that is fantastic to look at. Consequently, I love this and I recommend buying it here! Would you kill another human to reclaim your life? Make your choices, live with the consequences, and escape your bland existence.

Loretta is an intriguing, often chilling adventure game throwback to cinema noir and pulp fiction. Complex characters and even more complex plot layers stack for an experience that's meant to be enjoyed multiple times. Its themes are not for the faint of heart, but we could say the same about life in general, can't we?

Loretta is short, brings unjustifiable puzzles and can be dragged for those who are not fans of the narrative genre. But even in the face of all this, it is dense, mature, visually beautiful in an unconventional way and brings a strong, unsettling and disturbing plot, as any good classic thriller should be.

A Nice-Looking, Tense Horror Title

Loretta is dark, gritty, and depressing. It’s a tale of a woman repeatedly failed and betrayed by those she should have been able to trust, her back to the wall with limited options. Depending on decisions made, Loretta is also a tale of hope, even if its best ending still delivers noir notes. My only regret with Loretta is not playing it sooner, so if you find this game calling your name, don’t wait a moment longer.

A dark psychological thriller that manages to focus on the inner world of the heroine, who has set foot on the path of evil. Not perfect, but definitely worth a look.
