Despite some issues related to the climbing mechanics, my overall impression of the game was positive, and the experience may also appeal to players who haven’t had any previous contact with the series. A potential issue for some players could be the short playtime, which in my case was only around two hours.

Diving deeper into a previously untold part of the story without feeling forced was genuinely fantastic, as well as keeping the soul of the series intact. It isn’t perfect, and I’d love to see another one that expands the gameplay, puzzles, and length. That being said, if you’re a fan of the series this is a must play!

Feeling small and powerless is an experience that makes one appreciate life in the adult world. It also gives a new appreciation of how children feel about the world. This game’s VR heightens all these feelings found in the Little Nightmares universe. If you like games of suspense and mystery with a tinge of scary, check this one out.
