Like No Other: The Legend of the Twin Books is a short point-and-click adventure title. Explore the abandoned town of Red Pines and interact with the few who continue to dwell there. And finally, uncover the legend that has continued to live on in Red Pines.

Well-animated, voiced, and composed, this game has some great positives, but it somehow struggles to be interesting

Much like Wind Peaks, Like No Other: The Legend Of The Twin Books is a family-friendly release that has left me wanting more. I like the game (and the studio that made it), but I seriously question the content for the price. So wishlist this title and hope a sequel adds more of the good stuff while adjusting some things that didn't quite land.

Like No Other: The Legend of the Twin Books is a fun little game worth playing if you enjoy these kinds of games. It isn’t amazing, but it offers a charming world, some entertaining voice acting, a few enjoyable puzzles, and a great hand-drawn aesthetic to treat your eyes.

Actoon Studio gets so much right, and it fills me with joy to recount my time. Now if I were to make one complaint, is that it’s too short of a runtime. The Steam page suggests about two hours of gameplay, and I rolled credits in 90 minutes. While accurate, I felt like I just got going when things wrapped up. I certainly hope there’s DLC or a sequel planned, because I’m rather invested in seeing more of Dan and this world that crumbling. Like No Other: The Legend Of The Twin Books really is like no other, it’s just an honest-to-goodness game that you should definitely check out.
