Its story is the same old cyberpunk sci-fi you've heard before, but Jack Move's invigorating battle system, winsome characters and gorgeous animation make this Japanese-style RPG worth a look.
Read full review ↗It may not last terribly long, but Jack Move manages to pack in all the important elements needed for an excellent cyberpunk JRPG adventure. The inventive battle system, enchanting world, and appealing graphics all come together to make for a perfectly paced, gripping, and memorable release that no RPG fan will want to miss out on, and that goes double for time-poor genre aficionados. It's not often that you see a JRPG that leans so hard into science fiction tropes, and Jack Move makes the most of every minute of its runtime. Highly recommended.

Read full review ↗Jack Move is a great RPG inspired by classics of the genre that, despite stumbling a bit with developing its story, delivers a great combat system and a very immersive world that make the time investiment well worth it.
Read full review ↗Developer So Romantic crafts a concise RPG with Jack Move that stands out with its original cyberpunk-themed turn-based mechanic and retro aesthetics.
Read full review ↗Jack Move starts off enchanting with a beautiful visual presentation and a rousing soundtrack, but the technological magic quickly wears off. When we finally realize it, the game is over and all that's left is the feeling that the hours spent were not well spent.
Read full review ↗Jack Move is exactly what you'd expect. Maybe too much so, bordering on generic at times. Other than a same-y but enjoyable narrative, a few fun battles, and some light puzzle work, there are no exciting twists to pull you in. But you don't always need that. Not all RPGs need to be 40-60 hour epics and Jack Move proves there's a place for the shorter contained experiences too. It proves that some great aesthetics and some fun writing can be more than enough to anchor otherwise generic RPG action.
Read full review ↗Jack Move does not exploit its full potential, but it is still an enjoyable game for fans of the cyberpunk genre.
Read full review ↗Jack Move is brilliant. It is a bite-sized JRPG that will appeal to both newcomers like myself and seasoned veterans of the genre. A beautiful art style, captivating story, interesting characters, funny dialogue, compelling battle system and off-the-charts charm all blend together to make this one of my favourite gaming experiences of 2022.
Read full review ↗Jack Move is a modern JRPG that pays homage to its origins by bringing a very casual experience of a genre that usually demands a lot from players with a well-written plot, well-built characters and simple gameplay to master. It is great for those looking for a less demanding, but still satisfying, experience in this classic video game genre.
