In particular, quests with strict time limits can often feel unfair, and grinding out tasks purely to improve your relationship with different characters is a slog.

If you've been curious about the property, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - Infinite Combate is a good way to get involved, as it allows you to explore the first season of the anime and some supplementary material in an enjoyably interactive manner. Series veterans will also appreciate the opportunity to "date" their favourite characters in the Extra mode as both Bell and Ais, and the array of beautiful artwork and fun events to unlock provides good incentive for continued engagement — as does the progression system, which only really shows its depth once you've cleared the story. It's just a bit of a shame the game feels like it was developed on the cheap; it's likely some will find the simplistic dungeon graphics in particular somewhat off-putting. If you can look past that, though, this is a good adaptation of a well-loved series, with plenty of content to keep you busy in the long term.

An utter disappointment, for fans and newcomers alike. For the newcomers, this is more likely to dissuade potential interest in a series that is so much better than this. For fans of the series, this not only does not do any of the adaptations - be it light novel, manga, or anime - justice, but it is a terrible adaptation. Low quality. Low budget. Just embarrassing, especially considering how long this has been in production. It's hard to think of anyone to recommend this for. It's flawed and forgettable in every way.

While an easy recommendation for fans of the anime, Infinite Combate may be perceived as a pricey, mediocre experience for average RPG consumer.

For a developer that has created over 50 games, the game feels like it was put together quickly to meet fan demands.

Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? tells an enthralling story, but the basic grindy gameplay detracts from the overall experience

As it stands, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate truly immerses you into the anime’s story. Shot by shot, with little to no surprises, you’ll follow the two key characters and their adventures. The real struggle with this game is simply how easy it is, which isn’t always a bad thing if you’re looking to unwind, but sometimes you expect more challenge out of a anime-themed dungeon crawler.

Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth Infinite Combate has a lot of problems, but it’s nowhere near being the worst game that I’ve ever played. If you’re looking for a content-rich dungeon-crawler, then you’ll probably want to pass on this one. There are better dungeon-crawlers out there. However, if you consider yourself to be a fan of the series and really want to experience it in a new and unique way, then picking this up still might be worth your time.

Infinite Combate it's not the best option for the non fans of the series, due mostly of the faulty combnation between a graphic novel and an RPG. Probably the fans will love and like it but for the the majority it's going to be some desapointment.

Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate had the potential to be better, especially if it was released a few years ago for Nintendo 3DS. It is a title that insults dungeon crawlers and RPGs in general, although it has some good points and is noob friendly. In addition, instead of recommending it, I think it is more advantageous to watch the animation. Trying to find positive points to compesate it's problems disappointed me, just like the animation.
