Why play it

Talismans are magical items that contain great power, even with some that can grant any desire. Kronos, a boy training as a wizard, and Serene, who consider one another as siblings, become enveloped in a Talisman conspiracy. Will they be able to save themselves and the world from the threatening danger? Equip Talismans to the Skill Board to acquire skills and fatal moves to turn the tides in turn-based battles. Forging and upgrading weapons, armor and Talismans from materials will grant you additional advantages. There are also strategic elements with battle formations and traps, and not to mention the variety of quests, arena and monster achievements that await as challenges!

I know I did a lot of complaining about this game, but it was very fun to play. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting, and I loved how quickly the battles could go by so I could grind to whatever level I wanted. The world and characters were colorful and cute if a bit generic. The story left a lot to be desired, and the combat was challenging enough that I had to pay attention most of the time. While there was a lot to complain about in this little JRPG, there is also a lot to love about it. Fans of the genre will like this title, I think. I hope to get back to it and complete this cute story.

Although it has its shortcomings, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Infinite Links. Its thoughtful cast of characters and satisfying party customization elements are more than enough to keep you entertained from start to finish.
