Hidden Cats in Tokyo is everything you need it to be. For older gamers familiar with Where’s Wally or Waldo, depending on where you are from, it's just a fun challenge to find everything. I find the game something you can play with younger kids, as they also enjoy the hunt. You can get a little extra knowledge about Japan and Tokyo, too, so learn whilst you hunt for cats.

Hidden Cats in Tokyo is a hidden object joy, even if we don’t particularly need that story to keep dragging us along for the ride.

Having played all the console Hidden Cats games and spinoffs, I’d started to burn out a little. However, Tokyo is a return to form as the expanded title provides more stages than ever but never drops the quality.

While following the same gameplay mechanics in the series, Hidden Cats in Tokyo tries to be a bit different. Mostly, it succeeds and would be a great delight for fans of the hidden cats genre.
