Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is everything fans could hope for in a sequel, as it improves upon every aspect that made the first Grapple Dog so great. Strong level design, a fantastic soundtrack, high gameplay variety, and lots of replayability make this one an easy recommendation to anyone looking for an excellent, pure platformer to add to their Switch library. It's the most fun platformer we've played in quite a while.
Read full review ↗Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is a blast to play, with fun, challenging, action-packed levels that offer plenty of variety. Swinging on a grapple hook never gets boring, and I really like how you can easily slide up and down the rope while swinging, this makes reaching higher places much easier. I was genuinely impressed with the level design, and it’s clear the developers poured everything into making the game as enjoyable as possible.
Read full review ↗Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is a great mix of action, platforming and exploration. Each level almost feel like a mini-Metroidvania like game where players are encouraged to explore every inch of every level to find all gems, treasures and collect as many (if not all) fruits. But Luna’s twin-stick shooting mechanic takes a while to get used to in a 2D environments and the “forced” exploration can feel like a chore. However, if you can get past these quirks, you’ll discover an addictive little gem and one of the best games of the last 12 months. Highly recommended.

Read full review ↗Overall, Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is an impressive platformer with engaging mechanics, a charming cast of characters, and plenty of challenges to keep you hooked. The lighthearted tone and challenging gameplay make it stand out among other platformers and should be up there with Mario and Sonic. If you loved the first game, you’ll feel right at home, and if you’re new to the series, this sequel is a perfect place to start. It’s safe to say that Grapple Dogs continues to be a very good dog, and this latest adventure deserves all the head rubs.

Read full review ↗Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is a sequel that fulfills its role, innovates a little here and there, and that's it: a job well done that probably won't be marked in the gaming trajectory of many players, but that entertained while it lasted.
Read full review ↗Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is an adorable sequel that really turns the fun dial up to 11. If you thought Pablo's solo adventure was great then you'll absolutely love his world-hopping journey with the oddly grumpy Luna by his side. 🐶
