CyberConnect2's finale to the Fuga trilogy, while still good, feels almost like an obligation.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 has small issues but feels like a fantastic experience for me as a fan of the trilogy. The story, gameplay, and replayability make it the definitive experience of the three fantastic games where you ride a massive tank and blow up villainy.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 isn’t just a continuation but a culmination. It takes what worked from the first two games, sharpens the mechanics, deepens the emotional storytelling, and delivers a strategy RPG experience that is as thoughtful as it is compelling.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 may be mostly more of the same, but that's no bad thing. From the visuals, to the mechanics, to the narrative, Fuga 3 impresses on all levels, ending the trilogy on an unbelievable high note. At times harrowing, at others hopeful, it's a great experience from beginning to end and I don't think I'll ever stop extolling the virtues of this incredible series. In fact, I cannot wait to see what CyberConnect2 does next in this compelling furry universe.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 represents the peak of an emotional story and preserves the quality of its predecessors, with an engaging narrative, strategic combat, and the ability to evoke a wide range of emotions in short periods of time. While the new features aren’t particularly groundbreaking, they add an interesting dynamic to the gameplay, allowing for more varied approaches throughout the campaign. Even so, there's a lingering feeling that these elements could have been more ambitious, making this sequel more memorable.

With its branching timelines, impactful choices, and upgraded strategy systems, it stands as a strong finale, though a few pacing and difficulty issues linger.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 isn’t a reinvention. It’s a refinement of CyberConnect2, bringing together everything it learned in this strange but beloved series. Therefore, fans who stuck with the show will be rewarded with a satisfying, deep, and lasting ending.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 is another great game from CyberConnect2. It doesn't only reinforce the polish and effort that the developers have brought to the table since the first game but also uses the opportunity to dive further into the additional characters and in adding even more strategic options to the combat.
