On a scale from gum to feast, Find Love or Die Trying is one of those bags of chips that your parents would pack you on a field trip. It’s definitely tasty, and it’s not too filling, but it’s also over way before you want it to be. Additionally, it’s Lays Original flavor potato chips: you really wanted a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos, but those went first and mom isn’t buying another snack pack until you eat all the other flavors as well.
Read full review ↗While Find Love or Die Trying doesn’t rewrite the visual novel genre, it does offer players witty storytelling, pop-culture references, humour, and mystery at every turn. The episodic format keeps the story engaging, and the choices you make truly feel impactful, which adds depth to the overall experience. The visuals are amazing, if not somewhat standard for this genre and the audio complements the atmosphere perfectly. Whether you are a fan of visual novels or brand new to the genre, Find Love or Die Trying is well worth checking out.
Read full review ↗Find Love or Die Trying certainly doesn't reinvent the visual novel wheel or add much to the genre, but it is enjoyable enough to entertain you for a brief few hours. It has a cast of fun characters, a twisted take on the dating game, and a decent story to wrap it all up in. If you enjoy the genre and want to know how it ends, certainly check it out.
