Upgraded HD visuals make Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS4 the best way to experience the world of Spira.
Read full review ↗One great RPG and one curio. Not a perfect port, but definitely Square Enix's best stab at bringing Final Fantasy to PC so far.
Read full review ↗Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster on the PS4 is the best that the games have ever looked. Sharp, crisp visuals bring the always enticing world of Spira to life on the big screen, while the core elements of both titles remain rock solid and impressively polished. The collection represents a great opportunity to jump back to a time when Squaresoft was seemingly unconquerable, and if you're totally new to the franchise, it's difficult to think of a better starting point.
Read full review ↗Having both of these incredible games in one package, with all the international content thrown in, and with prettied up graphics and audio makes picking up this release a no-brainer. Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster successfully does justice to these two RPG classics as it brings them to a new age of players; we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Read full review ↗Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered for the Nintendo Switch delivers a solid gameplay experience with greatly improved visuals, but some shortcomings keep it from perfection.
Read full review ↗It’s absolutely true, we’re talking about two monumental titles that every role-playing game fan should experience at least once in their lifetime. But this latest re-release of the Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster doesn’t have much to get excited about. Those who have never visited Spira will find this bundle to be an excellent introduction; those who already have the games in their collection, or own them on other platforms, would probably be better off looking elsewhere.
Read full review ↗Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster is an excellent package when judging the two games solely on their own merits. However, a questionable pattern is clearly emerging: Square Enix keeps re-releasing older titles for the Switch 2 as complete editions without offering an upgrade path—paid or free—for those who already own the previous version. Hopefully, publishers will show more flexibility in the future to reward the fans who have supported their libraries. For newcomers to the Final Fantasy franchise, or veterans who have never played Final Fantasy X, this remaster remains a great starting point.
