This sequel isn't quite up to the same tempo as the first game, but Figment 2: Creed Valley is still a fun musical adventure for both young and older players. If you're looking for a charming co-op that's kid-friendly, Figment 2 is a great recommendation.

Slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy them a bit, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled.

Figment 2 stands as a competent and creative action puzzle game with a lot of heart. Though it feels rather short, it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into making this charming world. Satisfying puzzles and excellent presentation are a big draw here, though they're let down by simplistic combat and undeniably rough, gameplay-affecting performance on Switch. We'll keep our fingers crossed for patches, and we'd still give Figment 2 a recommendation, though you may want to wait for this one to go on sale.

While perhaps a bit too similar to the original, and only weighing in at a little over a handful of hours, it still has loads of charm

Its subject matter is not original, but it certainly has a place in the puzzle of modern life and is worth engaging with.

Figment 2 is a step forward and a step back at the same time. It improves in some areas and falls behind the previous game in others. Still it manages to give you an enjoyable 5 hours with great visuals, songs and a story that tells you what is important in this life.

Figment 2: Creed Valley is a musical indie gem, with songs, clever puns and fighting in rhythm. It takes place in the far corners of the mind, and managed to surprise with the genres it combined. It’s fun but brief, yet well worth your time, or otherwise do you think I would have bothered with this rhyme?

Figment 2: Creed Valley is a story about letting go of the stress that life might throw at you. It reminds you that you're not too old to play the ukulele and that you too can dance like an idiot. Admittedly, the lack of visual progression is a shame. But the art style is fantastic, with each brush stroke looking uniquely gorgeous. Not only that, but the music feels like its own character, as though it lives in the world. The story itself is an emotional rollercoaster, and by the end, you can reflect back on the great journey you've taken.

Figment 2: Creed Valley is not just a game; it’s an experience. From the captivating story to the music that touched our hearts. It was an absolute joy to play and experience, and many others should as well. It touches on real-life subjects but also guides us through them. Sometimes a change of perspective is all we need to see the world from a different view. Figment 2: Creed Valley is currently only available on Steam, and we can’t recommend this game enough.

Figment 2 is one of the best games I’ve played in 2023. It may have a short runtime but it uses every second to tell a simple story and blow you away both with its visuals and its audio. The core gameplay remains interesting until the very end while every area you visit is full of character and charm that makes this one impossible to put down.
