Although Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery borrows a bit too heavily from its competitor Duck Detective, it's still worth checking out for those craving adventure. Judging by the interest in the demo, there's certainly going to be an audience curious about the mystery of the meowseum.

I understand it’s supposed to be a casual experience, and that’s fine, especially with the additional hints options for better accessibility, but there’s honestly no challenge to be had here. Because of this, I fear that Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery might become another case that eventually grows cold.

I’ve been in the mood for a good detective story for a while now, and thankfully, Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery didn’t disappoint me. I hope the game is successful enough for the developers to give us another chance to investigate crimes with this particular cat detective.

As the debut title from developer Nobody Crown, there’s a lot to like with Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery. Sure, its bloated menus and decidedly uncomplicated approach to crime solving might not scratch the itch of the most diehard genre fans, but its laid-back atmosphere and cozy aesthetic help to smooth out the rough patches, even if they don’t completely eliminate them.
