Players command a party of units across varied maps and engage in turn-based strategy battles that emphasize tactical positioning and unit skills. Key gameplay systems include a traditional weapon and magic rock-paper-scissors style affinity, movement skills that influence battlefield strategy, and a wound system in which defeated allies become injured and withdraw, causing temporary setbacks without permanent loss. Difficulty options allow players to tailor the challenge to their preferences.
