Packed to the gills with activities and swimming with great characters, In The Jungle is just as charming and surprising as the base game.
Read full review ↗Dave the Diver's latest DLC – the biggest yet – is a true triumph. It adds so much to the base game, it plays more like a sequel. I can't wait to see what the team is cooking up for Dave's next adventure.
Read full review ↗For fans of *Dave the Diver*, *In the Jungle* is a must-buy: lovingly crafted, surprisingly substantial, and bold enough to meaningfully expand upon familiar mechanics rather than simply repeating them. While newcomers should ideally start with the base game, they will find this expansion to be one of the strongest proofs yet of why *Dave the Diver* is rightly considered one of the most beloved indie gems of recent years. Minor narrative flaws and a few all-too-familiar clichés only slightly detract from the overall experience; ultimately, it remains a heartwarming, entertaining, and surprisingly deep adventure that demonstrates just how much heart and creative ingenuity still reside within this game world.

With an interesting story, new mechanics, and packed with references to other games, the title shows that Mintrocket's creativity truly knows no bounds. Delivering a high-quality journey, with many hours of pure fun and at an extremely fair price, the expansion proves that exploring Utara and its ecosystem is an irresistible invitation for any fan.
Read full review ↗Dave the Diver In the Jungle brings the diver to dry land: a village to conquer with sushi, dozens of activities and new characters in a rich DLC.
Read full review ↗Dave the Diver: In the Jungle offers more of what made the original game so enjoyable, while once again finding ways to keep the experience feeling fresh. The new turn-based combat sections are a welcome addition to the already diverse range of gameplay styles, proving once again that Mintrocket knows exactly how to blend different genres into a cohesive and entertaining experience. The story may not break much new ground, but it remains enjoyable from start to finish thanks to its charming cast of characters, entertaining cameos, and humorous dialogue.
Read full review ↗"In the Jungle" does not attempt to alter the *Dave the Diver* formula but rather expand upon it with a new setting that refreshes the experience without compromising its essence. The change of scenery and the pacing of the dives provide enough variety to make everything feel distinct, even while remaining familiar. While it does lean on established elements at times, the result is solid and well-executed. Ultimately, it is a cohesive expansion that feels both familiar and refreshing.

Read full review ↗There’s more to Dave the Diver than wasting away between the sea and sushi shop. In the Jungle is a meaningful expansion of the Dave the Diver-verse. It opens up the world we’ve fallen in love with beyond The Blue Hole and lets us explore it. It gives us a handful of new minigames, all but one of which are a treat. It expands Dave’s relationship with a cast of emotive beings and sets the stage for Bancho the Chef (coming hopefully sooner rather than later). It’s one of the better post-game DLC expansions, by just about every metric.
Read full review ↗Perhaps one of the best DLCs (at least for a smaller "indie" game) I've played. Not only do you get more of an already great game, but they also give you multiple new gameplay elements. Honestly this could have been a good base for a sequel game with the amount of content you get. It's priced accordingly, give you more than a handful of missions like other smaller DLCs and it's fun. Highly recommend once you beat the base game.
