The game doesn’t pretend that trauma can be magically healed upon reaching the end of a level; instead, it offers a message of hope regarding resilience, forgiveness, and daily choices. It is an experience I won’t soon forget, and a masterful example of storytelling in games.

Blueberry is a heartfelt and intimate story-driven platformer that tackles serious themes with sensitivity, supported by a lovely minimalist style, a fitting soundtrack, and small but meaningful interactive details. Its platforming is simple and becomes repetitive over time, and some characters could use more depth, but the emotional core still lands strongly.

Bluberry is an exceptional game with a very strong and resonant core idea. It also offers multiple different endings, giving players a reason to come back to it repeatedly.
