The gameplay is enjoyable and relies on simple controls; even as the difficulty ramps up across stages, it is clear that success depends on the player improving, rather than the game becoming artificially difficult. Although gameplay is the title's strong suit, there is an unfolding backstory woven in to ensure the frenetic action doesn't become tedious.

Arashi Gaiden is fast-paced, beautiful, and best of all, a national product that demonstrates the talent of Brazilian studios in creating creative and fun experiences. [...] This doesn't mean the game is free of problems. The bugs encountered during the campaign, especially those related to crashes and the save system, can generate moments of frustration; however, its strengths outweigh its flaws.

Arashi Gaiden isn't just a new addition to the Pocket Bravery universe. It offers a unique experience that blends action, strategy, and precision in a fast-paced and challenging turn-based system. With stylized pixel art, an immersive setting, and creative mechanics, the game stands out for rewarding tactical thinking and perfect execution, turning each level into a bloody and thrilling puzzle. Even with a difficulty curve that can frustrate the less patient, the title rewards those who dedicate themselves, delivering an intense and fun ninja journey.

Arashi Gaiden is a great bite-sized turn-based action game set within the confines of a puzzle game. While it might be more difficult than others may expect, it will prove satisfying for those who enjoy solving puzzles with flair.

Arashi Gaiden is fun and challenging without becoming frustrating. The game is the result of years of perfecting the mechanics of previous Wired Dreams games, resulting in a game that is easy to learn but still challenges the player. Combined with this, the great artwork and animation in partnership with Statera Studio makes the game stand out and makes the experience even more enjoyable.
