Why play it

ANGLE is a psychological horror experience that challenges the boundaries of perception. Developed by C.O.T.E Technology & Development Studios, the game plunges players into a fractured reality where every corner hides a distorted truth. With its atmospheric storytelling and high-tension gameplay, ANGLE focuses on environmental storytelling and the thin line between sanity and fear. Survive the unseen, question your surroundings, and discover what lies at the wrong angle.

Story and worldbuilding

Angle is an atmospheric psychological horror game set within the dark corridors of the abandoned RovenHill Hospital. As the player moves through its silent and desolate halls, trust in their surroundings and in their own perception slowly begins to erode. Rather than relying on sudden jump scares, the game focuses on tension, isolation, and the gradual distortion of perception. Echoing footsteps, dim lighting, and unsettling environmental details draw the player deeper into the cold reality of the hospital. Every corner of RovenHill holds traces of what once was, though their meaning only becomes clearer as the player progresses. Angle tells its story through environment, sound, and careful observation rather than explicit narration. As players advance through the hospital’s oppressive atmosphere, they are encouraged to question both the world around them and themselves.
