The cheerful design and well written humour of Alter Age make it a solid good versus evil RPG. The winning formula includes amusing team member personalities, a well-paced story and a melodious soundtrack, plus the Soul Alter age-switching skill, which remains centre stage - and for good reason. It is exciting to see what new features KEMCO will come up with next.
Read full review ↗Alter Age is worth checking out if you're a fan of RPGs. It runs smoothly on the Nintendo Switch and has many fun mechanics to try, though some features may not be needed.
Read full review ↗Alter Age is a competent RPG and it manages to entertain with a functional combat system and an age change mechanic that adds a touch of originality to the gameplay. Beyond that, though the plot isn't so interesting, the interactions of the three main characters are fun and end up balancing this weak point.
Read full review ↗Alter Age a game that will not enter through the eye, not because it is a retro aesthetic (far from it) but because everything you see smells generic, the spaces are repetitive, the Npc are almost all the same, even the number of enemies is quite limited.
Read full review ↗As a more open retro RPG with one of the cleverest premises that I've ever seen, Alter Age is a must-have for any old-school RPG enthusiast. 🧒
