The game did manage to answer one of my questions, though: Hercule Poirot does not charge his phone at night, and this, mon ami, might be the greatest modern crime of all.
Read full review ↗Nevertheless, this refreshed iteration of Murder on the Orient Express is a joy to play. The inclusion of new content and the unique modern setting really make for a very fun time. Small issues can’t mar the fact that this is ultimately a very enjoyable case to crack.
Read full review ↗Murder on the Orient Express is impressive in its ability to breathe new life into a well-trodden story. Microids Studio Lyon has found a cute gap in the story to slide in its new character, Locke, without her getting in the way. Her tense and serious segments free up Poirot for a bit of comic relief, and the whole game sits with a relaxed atmosphere and pleasant presentation. Puzzles are mixed, but there are enough good ones to drive another enjoyable trip through Agatha Christie's classic story of mystery, justice, and moral ambiguity.

Furthermore, the plot is captivating, and the setting is spectacular. As such, I adore it and I recommend buying it here! Can you solve every problem you face? Use your mind map to piece together the clues, and save the day.
Read full review ↗Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express is entertaining detective fun that catapults Agatha Christie's best-known story into the modern age. The investigation brings a few new approaches that also make it interesting for fans and the puzzles are always quite challenging. The game's drawbacks are the bumpy animations, the repetitive gameplay and the occasionally unpleasant voice acting

Read full review ↗Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express is definitely an interesting game from the French studio Microids, and—after a brief look back at the history of this series—a significant step forward. Among its major strengths are a suspenseful story, a well-known brand and characters, and well-designed puzzle mini-games. A nice surprise is the inclusion of Czech subtitles, which make this type of game even more enjoyable and accessible in our region, especially for younger or less linguistically proficient players. However, the characters’ facial expressions still need some improvement and are slightly lacking for the year 2023, especially since the developers are asking for what I consider to be a hefty price for the full version. In any case, I highly recommend this game to all fans of detective stories.
Read full review ↗Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express brings a highly competent police novel classic, pleasing those who read the book or who like investigation and puzzle games. What's missing, in my opinion, is a better suspense atmosphere, as the plot is unveiled in a very direct fashion, but this is hardly something that takes the shine out of Microids' good job.
