9th Dawn Remake

9th Dawn Remake is a solid dungeon crawler that you'll sink hours and hours into. The main game has wonky controls for my taste, but the mini games are a blast.

Despite its limitations, 9th Dawn Remake is a nostalgic and ambitious adventure that simply invites players to explore and fight without interruption. 9th Dawn Remake stands out for its depth and versatility, offering a truly vast overall package of content at a negligible price and further enhanced by local and online cooperative play. That said, Valorware's production is probably not suitable for those looking for a role-playing production that is full-bodied especially on a narrative level or jaw-dropping on a more purely aesthetic level.

9th Dawn Remake is so much fun, there’s so much to do, and it runs perfectly on the Switch. For only $16, the game throws so much content and value at you and will keep you occupied for 50 hours or more. It’s well worth the price of admission if you’re an RPG lover.

This is an incredible achievement for a solo developer, and the sheer scope on offer here is undeniable. This is a game that will be installed on my Xbox for quite some time, and the pacey nature of the game, combined with the addictive complexities that can be uncovered makes it an extremely rewarding experience. Valorware has created a game that they should be incredibly proud of, and all CRPG lovers should absolutely dive right in!
